Cranford AC Notes
Four of Cranford AC talented young Athletes made the long journey to Tullamore, to compete in the National Children Games, these athletes had to Qualify out of Ulster to compete in this team event.
First up was Michael Moore and Diarmuid Gallagher in the boys U/9 300m, this was these boys first ever All Ireland’s and rose to the occasion having a great run finishing in the middle of the field.
Next up was Caolan MC Fadden and Ryan MC Menamin these boys ran their hearts out just missing out on a third place medal by less than half a second. Well done to both teams and keep up the good work boys.
Thanks to coaches Eamon Giles, Rose Gavaghan and Bridie Trearty who travelled down with the athletes and also to the parents who travelled.
Next up is the Nationals in Tullomore this weekend where we have, Eoghan Moore, Teresa Mullen, Oisin Kelly, Aoife Giles and Orla Neely.
