Cranford impress at Donegal children games.

>> Cranford A.C. travelled to Finn Valley on Thursday last on which was a dry but cold evening.
>> First up were our boys U/9 Caolan mc Fadden and Ryan mc Menamin, both boys did very well Caolan had great runs both in the 60m and 300m and a PB in the long jump getting 3 gold medals.
>> Next up were the girls U/10 Blathnaid Gallagher and Clodagh Neely, both girls had a good run in the 500m finishing well up the field. Next up was Caolan Curran, who had a great run in the 60m getting 3rd place, 3rd Donegal in the 500m and also getting 3rd in the long jump.
>> Our girls U/11 were well represented with Caoimhe Browne, Caoimhe Neely,Nazara mc Fadden, Orla Neely. Nazara made it into the final of the 60m just missing out on a medal coming 4th. All girls had a good run in the 600m finishing well up the field. Orla had a great throw in the turbo javelin, claiming 3rd place.
>> Last up but by no means least were the boys U/11 Max Roarty, Cian mc Menamin, Ben Fox and Conor Neely. Max got a total of 3 medals, with gold in the long jump, silver in both the 60m and 600m with some very fine running. Cian had a great 600m with a impressive last 200m claiming 1st place.
>> All athletes now go on to the Ulster children games which will be held at the end of May.
