First up was our under 10 boys, with Ryan McMenamin, Michael Moore, Caolan McFadden and new comer Alex Geastowski All boys ran well with Ryan running the first leg keeping in contention with the leaders, Michael ran a very strong leg to hand over to Caolan MC Fadden who left nothing in the tank who handed over to new comer Alex running very well in a very exciting last leg with all three medals up for grabs. These boys ending up with well deserved silver medals.
Our Girls U/12 were up next with Caoimhe Neely taking on the first leg with a good strong run, handing over to Clodagh Neely who ran a very good leg handing over to Nazara MC Fadden who kept the girls up in the mix , and with just 5 teams in the leading pack handed over to Teresa Mullen it was a fight to the end and the girls came home in 4th place just missing out on the medals.
Our boys U/12 boys were up next with Connor Neely lead from the start, with a great run handing the baton over to, Caolan Curran who ran very well with Cian MC Menamin keeping the boys in touch running very well and max Roarty with determination on his face crossed over the line in joint 2nd place not even a photo could separate the teams.
