Cranford AC do well at the Glaslough Road races

Sunday last saw a large group of young athletes travel to Glaslough in County Monaghan for the yearly road race event on what was a lovely sunny day.
First up was Killian Caldwell and James McDaid in the u8 boys race with both boys running very well with Killian winning a bronze trophy.
Miah Fletcher was up next in the u10 girls race where she had a great run winning a silver trophy.
In the u10 boys race Caolan McFadden put in a fine performance winning a gold trophy followed by Ryan McMenamim in 5th place, Michael Moore in 10th and Diarmuid Gallagher close behind.
In the u12 girls race Nazara McFadden ran very well coming home in 4th place followed closely by Ciara Donnelly, Caoimhe Neely, Blaithnaid Gallagher and Leah McDaid.
Cian McMenamim led the u12 boys home in 3rd place winning himself a bronze trophy with Conor Neely also running well and just missed out on a medal.
Caitlin O’Hara was our only girl in the u14 girls race where she ran well finishing well up the field.
In the u14 boys Oisin Kelly had a great finish to claim a bronze trophy followed closely by Liam Donnelly in 7th with Oran McMenanim and Johnny Trearty both running well.
Molly Trearty had a great race in the u16 girls race coming home in 2nd place winning herself a silver trophy. This was a superb achievement for Molly having run in the Schools All Ireland Cross Country championship in Sligo the day before where she came home in 30th place.
Eoin Logue was also running in the Schools All Ireland Cross Country championships where he had a great race finishing in 52nd place.
Eoghan Moore ran very well in the u16 boys race where he came home in 9th position.
